I was wondering, what if someone wanted to build a tiny data center for a - sort of - small software house. In terms of hardware and software for a tiny data center, I would sugest a couple of things:
-Firewall (SonicWall, paloalto, pfSense).
-UPS Power Backup.
-Docker Cluster (Docker Swarm/Kubernets).
-SAN (freeNAS is not a bad idea).
-Hypervisors (vmware/XenServer/Proxmox).
-Microsoft Active directory or Samba4.
-IT infrastructure monitoring tool software (Zabbix/Xitoring).
-Backup Server (veeam or Proxmox Backup Server).
